LE Tactical Rifle II

LAW ENFORCEMENT LIVE FIRE TRAINING EMPHASIZES

  • Reinforce weapon and safety condition awareness with safe weapons handling at all times
  • Effective use of cover vs. concealment in patrol, warrant service, and active threat environments
  • Threat identification, prioritization, and discrimination in legally complex use-of-force scenarios
  • Multiple-threat engagement with efficient target transitions and accountability for every round fired
  • Rifle failure-to-fire procedures and immediate handgun transitions under duty conditions
  • Malfunction recognition and clearance (Type I, II, III) under cognitive and physiological stress
  • Performance standards, qualification metrics, and officer accountability tracking
  • Shooter diagnostics to correct inefficiencies impacting survivability and liability
  • Predictive vs. reactive gunfighting in rapidly evolving encounters
  • Visual processing and threat recognition efficiency in cluttered, real-world environments
  • Cognitive load management during high-stress, time-compressed decision-making
  • Environmental awareness and crossfire/deconfliction considerations in team and solo officer responses
  • Performance when it matters most—when policy, law, and life intersect

Advanced  Shooting Is Simply Mastery of The Basic Fundamentals

This course is specifically designed for sworn law enforcement professionals who deploy the rifle in patrol, tactical, or specialized assignments, including off-duty and plainclothes applications where rifle deployment may be justified.

The Law Enforcement Tactical Rifle II course bridges the gap between department qualification standards and real-world operational performance. While many officers meet minimum qualification requirements, this program develops the ability to perform under stress, uncertainty, and legal scrutiny—where outcomes carry immediate and long-term consequences.

Instruction moves beyond static range training and focuses on disciplined weapons handling, decision-making under pressure, and defensible use of force consistent with departmental policy, state law, and case law considerations.

CORE TRAINING OBJECTIVES

  • Develop efficient, repeatable rifle handling in dynamic and unpredictable environments
  • Execute seamless rifle-to-handgun transitions when the rifle becomes inoperable
  • Identify and clear malfunctions under stress without hesitation or loss of situational awareness
  • Apply positional shooting and movement principles relevant to patrol and tactical operations
  • Improve threat assessment and prioritization in multi-threat, legally complex encounters
  • Deliver accurate, accountable fire while managing time, distance, and environmental variables
  • Strengthen decision-making and articulation for post-incident reporting and legal review

OPERATIONAL FOCUS

This course emphasizes the realities officers face in the field:

  • Unpredictable environments (vehicles, structures, open areas)
  • Presence of innocent parties and crossfire risk
  • Policy-driven use-of-force constraints
  • Rapidly evolving threats requiring immediate adaptation

Training reinforces that every action must be both tactically sound and legally defensible.

PERFORMANCE DEVELOPMENT

Participants will be pushed beyond baseline proficiency to:

  • Diagnose and correct their own performance deficiencies
  • Operate from a predictive, decision-driven mindset rather than reactive responses
  • Maintain control of their weapon system while processing complex information
  • Perform reliably under elevated heart rate, stress, and time pressure

PHYSICAL & MENTAL DEMAND

This course is moderately physically demanding and cognitively intensive. Officers should expect:

  • Movement-based shooting drills
  • Time-compressed decision-making
  • Sustained focus under stress

The intent is to expose limitations, reinforce discipline, and build clarity under pressure—not simply improve marksmanship.

WHO THIS COURSE IS FOR

This program is designed for:

  • Patrol officers deploying rifles
  • SWAT and specialized unit personnel
  • Plainclothes and investigative officers authorized to deploy rifles
  • Supervisors responsible for training oversight and performance standards

FINAL EMPHASIS

This is not a qualification course.
This is a performance and survivability course.

When officers are forced to act, there is no warm-up, no reset, and no second attempt.

Train now to ensure clarity, control, and accountability when the moment demands it.
