Establish the Foundation You Can Rely On
The OODA DEV Tactical Rifle I course is designed to build the non-negotiable foundation every responsible rifle owner or professional must have before stress, uncertainty, and real-world consequences enter the equation.
This course builds directly on the Tactical Rifle – Basic Introduction, advancing students from basic familiarization into the disciplined development of reliable rifle handling and repeatable shooting performance.
This is not casual range shooting. It is about reinforcing safe weapons handling, efficient, fundamental mechanics, and sound decision-making from the very beginning.
Students learn how to run the rifle efficiently and responsibly, focusing on consistent fundamentals that hold up when pressure replaces comfort. Instruction emphasizes accountability and deliberate execution so shooters understand not just what to do, but why they are doing it.
As training progresses, students are coached to identify and correct their own errors, build consistency through structured repetition, and develop the ability to articulate their actions and decisions—an essential capability for both responsible citizens and law enforcement professionals.
This course establishes the baseline many rifle owners never receive: the ability to operate the rifle confidently, manage common malfunctions, and apply shooting fundamentals deliberately rather than react emotionally.
Skipping this foundation does not save time—it creates risk.
Train correctly now, before poor habits become permanent.
